What would be the cheapest way to to get to Manhasset (long Island) from LaGuardia airport?
I am flying in with LaGuardia airport and need to go into long Island to Manhasset, what would be the cheapest way to get their?

Cheapest option:
Take Q48 bus to last stop, Flushing-Main Sts.
As you get of bus, cross Main St and walk straight to Union St where you see sign for N20/N21.
Take N20N21 to Northern Blvd/Plandome Av Listen for Bus Operator or digitral recorded announcement.
During AM Rush Hour, there are five N20 Limited service available from 7:07, every 20 minutes until 8:07, last bus 8:28 will only takes 45 minutes.
If you want to take Long Island Railroad, after you get off Q48 at Flushing-Main St Subway, turn right at Main St, and walk one block to 41st Av (opposite of McDonald is New York-bound. After you pass, TIcket Office, it is Port Washington track.
Before you get on Port Washington Branch, make sure you buy peak $6.25 or off-peak $4.25 to Manhasset.
If you paid by cash (coins only), ask for free transfer as you paid $2.25.
You could get Unlimited MetroCard at Hudson Stand or Metro-Card Vending Machine at Central Terminal by using Credit/Debit or ATM Card.
Unlimited MetroCard will be best card.
It gives you Unlimited ride on buses, subways, Bee-Line Buses, Staten Island Railway, and Roosevelt Island Tramway.
