What area do you recommend? I would like to stay near the airport. I will not be renting a car so I need to be able to get back to the airport quickly. What neighborhoods do I want to avoid staying in? I am trying to find a hotel for under 0. Please help.
don’t feel like renting a car
We’re not renting a car, so what would be the fastest/cheapest way to get to Times Square by subway,bus, etc.? I looked at the ny/nj subway map, and it looks like the 7 subway offers a route, but how do I get to that point. It doesn’t look like Laguardia Airport has a subway station for the 7 line. Would a bus be better? Also, we land at about 10am, and check in time for our hotel isn’t until 3pm(Courtyard Times Square), any suggestions on what to do with our luggage? Any activities/places that offer lockers would be great.
I thought I would be renting a car at Laguardia and driving to New Jersey, but it turns out I will be staying at a different family member’s apartment. She says skip the car but is not being very informative on how to get there. The area is Menahan and Myrtle. I don’t need the cheapest option, since I was going to spend $ on car rental but I’d rather not be in the cab ride category either.
