My fiancée and I are getting married August 21, 2010. We want to go on a Carnival Cruise for our honeymoon which leaves from New York City August 23, 2010. We’re both from Massachusetts and have never been to NYC. While we both agree it would be nice to spend the night extra night in the city we are unsure if we should just drive into the city, or fly from Albany Int Airport to JFK/Newark/LaGuardia and then take a taxi, or take the train, or rent a limo? Driving would be the least expensive but like I said we have never drove in NYC. My fiancée has never driven in any big city, and I have driven in Toronto, Chicago, and Boston.

Any suggestions??

I’m thinking of visiting NYC soon from London. Distance from city center won’t be a big deal (either from JFK or Newark). I just want to know which airport is better for visitors, e.g. the time required to clear immigration and customs, facilities, ground transportation, passenger service, etc.

I need to go to Franklin Lakes NJ for a one day meeting and I checked the distance from Newark and JFK to FL and they were about the same but JFK flights are less pricey so I wanna know if there is anyway I could get there using buses/trains/ cabs (for short distances) since google maps couldn’t help with this one

My husband will be flying (pilot) out of JFK but there is no way that we can afford to live in NYC so we are looking at NJ for housing. We are trying to figure out our options on how he can get to work. How long would it be to drive to JFK from Newark? The only thing I have found so far as for transportation is an airport shuttle for . That would work for a last option because that would get expensive fast considering how much he will be going back and forth.

I’m staying with family in Newark for the holidays, but I’ll be flying into Laguardia. Nobody can pick me up so I’m on my own. Is it possible to get from Laguardia to Newark on Public transportaion and if so how? Also I would like to visit the city, whats the best way to get to Manhattan from Newark on public Transportaion? Prices for trains and shuttles would be great if you know them. Thanks!

I will be flying in most likely to Newark or LaGuardia airport. I need to make my way to Penn Station or Grand Central (not sure which yet). What is the cheapest way I can do this from either airport?

I can navigate well once I’m in the subway so if subway is cheapest option what is the closest subway stop to the airports and how can I get there from the airport?
