My friends are being so stupid. We have rented a limo for prom night, and they want to sneak drinks on board.

I will never drink, and I don’t feel like losing my prom night when the cops come and check the car and having the driver arrested and not being able to get to the damn prom place. And being STRANDED.

Their little ‘plan’ is to have the drinks in the girl’s purses.

Can the cops check bags if they suspect under aged drinking?

I’m eighteen, just turned this age, and I don’t feel like getting ARRESTED. >< They just won’t listen to me.

I live in NYC, please explain the laws and if searching and seizure is allowed. I need help with this. ]:

I am trying to get people to stop thinking prom is cheap. There are 7 people in my limo right now and the price is 130 per person. It may drop since its likely another date will come in…or even some friends.
I just want to know if the price is ridiculously high for a usual prom or something. I just think limo’s are expensive…so..the price doesn’t blow me away..OH….and we have it for 6 hours.

my birthday is august 17th and i need birthday ideas. ill only have a few friends going to whatever i do. no more then 10. i know for sure 4. it cant be extremely expensive. (as in flying to new york or something lol) and my mom said she can get the hook up on a limo but i have no idea where the limo could take us. i like in Waco, Texas which is about two hours away from dallas/houston/austin if that helps but theres not much i could do there either. any ideas?
oh and nothin really crazy/scary like skydiving! hah. no thank you.

I don’t want to come off as one of those girls who are like: I have a mansion, a limo, I get whatever I want. I’m not like that. I will admit I’m not multi millionaire, but my mom is a clothing designer ( not a famous one ) and my dad is a lawyer, so we have quite a bit of money to have nice things. As you know, I have a small little clique that people think are snobby. >:( I mean, you just can’t judge people! I swear this isn’t made up, but I live in Westchester, New York recently moved from Texas. I quickly make friends, and people say people who live in new york are snobs! Please! * ROLLS EYES* I like the brand Gucci, but I don’t only shop there. We go to a normal mall like everyone else sometimes, but I’m not spoiled. I never just ride in a limo, only for special things such a birthday, wedding, giving rides to my friends. So does it seem like I’m spoiled. I think I’m pretty, but I’m not stuck up or anything. Or am I? Please help.

im having a birthday party this saturday and im going to the city in a limo and then seeing a comedy club show, but the only problem is dinner. The restauranat i really wanted to go to only has reservations for 10:45, do you think thats too late for a bunch of 16 year olds?

I want to have a fancy birthday. I’m having it in New York. When I get to the airport, I’m thinking of a limo picking us up. Then going to a fancy hotel, and seeing a Broadway musical. Then we might rent a luxury car. What else could I do? I do need some more activities, and maybe fancy stuff like the limo picking us up, but something different. I know this is a lot, but I want some more ideas so I can choose!! Please don’t say I’m spoiled, because actually I’m not, and my brother just went to NYC and I’m doing this for my birthday and Christmas, and it’s the "gift" everybody’s giving me. I probably won’t be able to do something like this again for a while, lol.

Also, I’m thinking of a horse-drawn carriage.
Trust me, I"m not. My dad said I could go somewhere because my brother just went somewhere. This is going to my birthday, Christmas, and I will have to pay all my money (which I earned). all my relatives who usually give me presents are going to contribute.
There’s people in my neighborhood who get aroung 200-400 dollars every holiday (even Earth Day, and Valentine’s Day). I barely get to do stuff like this!
Oh! There’s a place like that near where a live. It’s really cool.

i was thinking about it but i realize how much it was gonna be. dress+shoes+tux+tickets+etc… i was thinking maybe just drive my car? would that look bad? does everyone rent a limo for prom?
