Probably considering Cab unless someone has a better alternative? Also will cabs carry 4 people? And What would be the best route if arriving on a Friday around 1:30pm? Thanks!
I saw something on the news about a year ago…it was a taxi company that made really cool cabs to take to prom. It had music and lights and other really flashy stuff…does anyone know what I’m talking about or the name of the company? A website would be helpful. I really need transportation to prom but it looks like my limo plans are falling through. Does anyone know of an alternative to a limo besides having your parents drive?
I’m going to NYC for the first time from the 8th-15th of May. I’m staying in the Ozone Park area of Queens near the JFK airport. What would the best way to get around Queens and what should I see there? And then I plan to go into Manhattan and sightsee. What’s a metrocard and would that help me as well? I just want to save some of my money and not have to take cabs and such.

I live in New Rochelle and have to make a trip to JFK to catch a 7:00 AM flight. I have to be at the airport by 6:00am but all the cabs, from New Rochelle are very expensive about . Can anyone suggest a better cheaper option?
I was in NYC over the weekend and couldn’t help but notice alot of people drove black cars that I am guessing are either Crown Victorias or Lincoln continentals. I know some are limos but I saw alot that were old and beat up driven by ordinary people. They also have some cabs of the same make.
I need to go to Franklin Lakes NJ for a one day meeting and I checked the distance from Newark and JFK to FL and they were about the same but JFK flights are less pricey so I wanna know if there is anyway I could get there using buses/trains/ cabs (for short distances) since google maps couldn’t help with this one
Also, how long is that trip and can NY cabs accommodate 4 passengers & luggage?

Local Cabs would probably be a lot more expensive VS. a cab or limo from an actual service. Plus some Local Cabs only go as far as downtown (really downtown..borderline to Brooklyn),and don’t go outside to other bouroghs.
