Five days prior to my daughter’s senior prom we try to contact the limo bus company that was to provide services for 17 kids. Guess what the toll free number and the local number are disconnected. This is a Monday night around 6pm and prom is on Friday. We start by going to the location of the business involved, locked up tight! Tuesday a minimum of 20 calls are made to these numbers by 1:30pm. I finally am so frustrated I call a friend of mine who is a public defender and explain what is going on and the time constraints we are working with. The friends advice "It appear’s the company is out of business and you (meaning Me) need to hire another company." After numerous phone calls to local services and a desperate shout out for help from my favorite country music station, I find two limo services who have what we need. The kicker here is at 9:58pm I receive a call from from Mikes limos. I ask about his phones, he calls me a liar I ask for the kids money back.
I also contacted the local police. I discovered a limo bus on the property with out of state expired plates issued a current Illinois safety inspection sticker??? I contacted company whose name and phone are on the limo bus…they sold the it 10 months ago and the plates were reported destroyed..they aren’t to happy either. I intend to go to small claims court. I am asking for the orginal deposit and the extra monies we had to come up to provide transportation for 18 prommers.
OOPs I forgot to count my daughter in the first paragragh….sorry sweety
Mikes limo called Thrusday NIGHT!!! Around 9:59 PM!!!
