I want to audition for a school called LaGuardia High School in New York City? Is it difficult?
I’m going to audition next year for LaGuardia High School. I would like to know from anyone who auditioned and got accepted. I want to know what the level of difficulty is in getting into the school. Is it really difficult?

i am a sophomore there, if you think you have what it takes, then by all means audition. If you are auditioning for Art, then you have to have some talent in drawing and/or painting. The audition itself is about 2 hours long, 30 minutes for each drawing.
If you try for drama, pick out 2 contrasting monologues, then they put you in a room where you have to do a cold read.
For dance, you audition with what you’ve got. Proper attire and self confidence. They expect you to show the best dancing that you’ve got to offer (they prefer ballet)
For Tech theater you write an essay stating what you know about it, and you do hands on experiments.
I’m not too sure about vocal or instrumental. good luck!
