I own a limo company. Any suggestions on where for look for sales people? 10% commission in perpetuity.?

I own a limousine company in Van Nuys, CA. with offices in New York and affiliates worldwide. I am looking to hire a small sales team to pump up our volume. The pay would be commission only, 10% being payed out for the life of the account. Where would be a good place to advertise. I have some ideas, but I am also entertaining suggestions..

Before you started looking into it, how much did you THINK a wedding costs? & what is normal for your area?

When I say "wedding" I mean the ceremony + reception.

Maybe it is because I am from the northeast (stone’s throw from New York City) and have cousins who are about 10-15 years older than me that got married when I was a kid, I was aware of how expensive weddings are.
Normal weddings, where I am from, are church ceremony (occassionally ceremony @ Reception venue), banquet hall for the reception with cocktail hour, dinner (buffet or plated), DJ, Dancing, Cake, Limos for the wedding party, Professional Photographer for photos, etc. And I’ve never been to a wedding that didn’t have a full open bar. And 150 to 200 guests is the norm.
I don’t find the k – k average to be crazy, as some folks do on here. That is representative of a pretty common wedding where I am from — not anything elaborate or over-the-top.
Dinners at banquet halls for wedding guests easily start at 0 per plate (my SIL is planning her wedding at a place that is nearly 0 per plate). 0 per plate x 100 guests and you’re at -grand and you’ve only fed 100 people.

So I am curious – especially when dollar amounts are discussed on here. What is the norm where you are? Do you thumbs down those of us who live in or come from high-priced areas because we spent -grand on our weddings (which is ‘cheap’ for the Northeast where I’m from)?
Before you dug into the real price tags, what did you think weddings costs? How did that change after you did your research?
Blunt, I couldn’t agree more – I love the "that’d be better spent on a downpayment".
When I met my hubby we each owned a home, I had 4 cars (3 classics + my daily driver), and he had 3 cars (daily driver, sports car & race car). We did have modest car payments on our daily drivers but our "fun" cars were 100% paid for.
And we went cheap and only spent k on our wedding and didn’t rack up ANY debt. Only used credit cards when ordering stuff online & those got paid off when the bill came in.
People can drop some big-bucks on their weddings, without relying on their rich parents & without debt.

Is this a good idea for my Sweet Sixteen Party?

My 16th Birthday is in a bit over 2 weeks, and i had a really awesome idea for a party! I already asked my mother if my party was expensive if it was a problem. She said it shouldn’t be. I no longer live in Florida, (I live in the EU) but my mother said that i could fly with all of the friends i wanted to invite to florida for the party. I want to invite 6 of my very good friends from the EU, And 2 friends from the UK and 4 friends from New York and Chicago and probably 10 friends from Florida (I think that they all should get along well, since they all speak English fluently, along with German and French, which my friends from the US cannot understand). This is the full Plan:
My 6 friends and I will fly from part of the EU ( I am not saying where) to the UK, to pick up my 2 friends from there, then the 9 of us will fly to New York, where my friend from Chicago will be at the Airport there in New York, where i will meet my 3 friends from New York, also. Then the 13 of us will fly to Miami, Florida, and there we will be met by a Limo, driving us directly to Universal Studios Orlando, where we will meet my Parents (relatives and Family Friends also), and We will all stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. My friends and I will be staying in the Graceland Suite, and my Parents and Relatives will stay in the King Suite, where there are 3 connection rooms. We will arrive around 6 PM, at the Hotel, Where we will get ready and go to a Birthday Dinner for me. The Next day we will go to The Universal Park. The Following day, We will go to the Islands of Adventure Park. Each day we will go to City Walk after the Park. The Following day we will go to Sea World, and Then the Next day Aquatica, (Aquatica is a sea world water park). (I don’t know yet if we will do this or not but maybe. . . (the following)) We will the next ay go to Disney World, The day after Typhoon Lagoon, and the Last day Blizzard Beach. We will travel back to the EU the same way as we came accept for its backwards. Lol.
So what do you think?
Should i wait for Halloween Horror Nights, to go?
Should i take anything out ad anything?
Do you think that every one will like it?
Do you think that it will be WAY to expensive? ( i discussed this all partially with my mother, but just the flying and the hotel, with the universal and seaward parks, not the disney.)
Thank you SO much for reading all of this, and i will give 5 Stars for best answer.
Thanks and have a great day.
Lol, Freddy.
Actually, Sydney, Its about 6,000 for four people, Thanks for you concern, but your way off.

How to have fun on party bus?

I’m in my friend’s court for her BIG birthday party, and she’s having a party bus limo travel all around New Jersey and New York. The thing is, I only know one person (the guy that I’m with for the court. He’s nice but we don’t talk so much) who’s going to be on there. There’s going to be about 10? people I believe on there, I actually don’t know the exact amount. But how can I have fun with people I don’t know? It’s going to be awkward I think..
Oh I forgot to say – the party bus is for her court. I don’t know if she invited more friends. And, it’s going to travel us around for 4 hours, until the ACTUAL place where her party is.
Lmao, yeah there is going to be a pole too! And about 8 boys there, but I bet you they’ll be the ones to hog it up haha.

Registering a business.?

I am an Independent Limo Operator in the Bronx, New York. I want to open a Business Bank Account but they won’t do it without a Tax ID. How do I go about registering my business as a Sole Proprietor and getting a Tax ID? I am not ready to incorporate.
Let me rephrase that. What do I need to do to open a business account for my limo business that is not registered anywhere?

Looking for a limo service for my 16th birthday?

I live in Brooklyn, New york and need a not so expensive limo service to take me and my friends to Manhattan for my birthday. We will be mostly staying in Manhattan for the whole day I just need the limo to take us around. It’s going to be roughly 16 people and I need the price for the limo service. I only asked 1 and the price was 0 an hour so my guests would have to pay 0 per person. i want something cheaper if possible. please help thank you^_^

Hmmm, Which Party Would Cost More?

my 16th birthday is coming up in november! i have two ideas and i want the one that i do to be less expensive than the other. Do you think a party at a nice catering hall with Dj and all that crap for about 70 people would be more? Or do you think taking about 10 friends into new york city (we live on long island) in a limo and going on a fancy dinner cruise would be more money?
thanks for your time! (:

Why do women like "The bad boy"?

This is my husbands profile so i’m not trolling or whatever the word is. I’m 23 & i’m the younger of two girls. I was raised in Beverly Hills & moved out here to try & get parts in Broadway plays. Didn’t work out:( I was raised very conservatively & went to Church services every single week without fail. I was raised to believe that alcohol, smoking & any un perscribed drug was deathly. Of course i know a sip of wine won’t kill though. In my life i was homeschooled until i was 14. I never smoked, did drugs or drank. The only liquor i ever had was at my wedding & it was just one glass. I remained sexually pure until my wedding night. When i met my future hubby 4 years ago i was so badly turned on i almost through my self at him & asked to sleep with him. Thankfully i didn’t. He was 25 then & he was a party-er. He took me to parties & hangouts that i found repulsive but i was so excited by the whole bad boy routine i couldn’t help it. As we dated he told me about his past. He & his four brothers had been dealing Weed to support their families income. They made themselves thousands & greatly improved the lives of themselves & their parents. I’ve heard stories from his friends about how he would show up at somewhere & just lay it down. He was once in a brawl in NYC somewhere over ,000 of weed. He was known to most criminals in the NY/NJ area. Some of his ex GF’s i’ve met were just like me. Totally pure & prudent & enthralled with him because he was the bad ass. He did terrible in school & yet the boys who were honors students were nothing more than like girlfriends to the girls. Sorry it’s so long but my question is this. Are most women attracted to the rebel more than the rule follower?
